Review of Love Me For a Reason by Angela Britnell - Five **

Blurb:

When Daisy Penvean meets Nathaniel Dalton whilst visiting a friend in Nashville, it seems there are a million and one reasons for them not to be together. Nathaniel’s job as a mergers and acquisitions manager means sharp suits and immaculate hair, whereas Daisy’s work as a children’s book illustrator lends itself to a more carefree, laidback style. And, as Daisy lives in England, there’s also the small matter of the Atlantic Ocean between them.

But when Nathaniel’s job takes him to London to oversee the merger of a small publisher with a large American company, he and Daisy meet again under very different circumstances. Because Daisy works for the publisher involved in the deal, and if Nathaniel does his job, it could mean she loses hers …

Review:

I seem to be a on a winning streak with books at the moment. This is a really funny and emotional book with danger at times.

The love story between Daisy and Nathaniel is brilliant - imagine chalk and cheese getting together with fireworks. That's it in a nutshell! I love romances that spark and burn on and off - and plenty of misunderstandings as well!

The support cast are equally memorable - Nathaniel's parents are poles away from him and he keeps as much distance between him and them. Daisy is the youngest and is still treated like a baby by her family.

Throw in the fact that she lives in Cornwall and he lives in Nashville - and you can start to see there may be problems!

Great story with a couple of unexpected twists.

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
